Hi! I am running the latest version of Kibana on Windows. I set the data.path variable in the config to change the location of the data and this works for the uuid file, but not for the chromium folders that are created. Is there some place else I need to update to move where the chromium files are stored?

Thanks,
John

Welcome to the community!

Shoud be [`path.data`](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/settings.html) and restart Kibana. For instance:

`path.data: C:/elastic/kibana/Data`

Thanks Rios. That's what I did, but the Chromium files did not move. It only worked for the uuid file for some reason.

There is an issue in an older version. Check [this](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/140394).

Thanks for sharing. Looks like it is still an open issue. I checked the codebase the bug is still in there.
