I am getting an exception trying to filter on a date\_time field in Kibana.

Discover: failed to parse date field [2018-08-13T14:44:21.253] with format Invalid date

ModificationTimestamp has the following timestamp:

"ModificationTimestamp": {
"type": "date",
"format": "date\_time"
}

Sounds like your date isn't being mapped correctly. You should take a look at [http://localhost:9200/\_mapping](http://localhost:9200/_mapping) and ensure your field is being correctly mapped to a date type with the correct format.
