# Kibana discover page and dashboard are not refreshing automatically

Hi,

Kibana discover page and dashboard are not refreshing automatically in version 7.7 (current).

Hi, check that you have the refresh enabled in the timefilter controls:

If that's not the issue, it could be a bug. Would you mind checking in our open issues to see if this exists? [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues)

By default is is showing o seconds to refresh, for work around i changed to every 5 seconds to refresh.

Is that good implementation to have for every 5 seconds to refresh the whole discover indexes and dashboards.

Please suggest me if i have done wrong

It sounds like you are using the interface the way it is intended to be used, so I wouldn't call it a workaround but maybe your feelings are different.
