# Kibana discover tab/ dev tools tab are failing to load with 503

baseurl:5601/api/saved\_objects fails with

`{ "message": "all shards failed: [search_phase_execution_exception] all shards failed", "statusCode": 503, "error": "Service Unavailable" }`

What version of Kibana are you seeing this error on? More detailed steps would be helpful to solve the issue. What was the action done to get into this state ?

|In v7.5.0 and beyond [#51324](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/51324) we started retrying 503 errors like these indefinitely so if the cluster eventually recovers the migration will succeed.|

Elastic 6.2.3 and kibana 6.2.3, i tried to purge old data and tried restarting elastic and kibana multiple times
