Old problem not solved. Every version of kibana creates new index template .kibana-event-log-7.xx.y-template with kibana-event-log-policy ILM policy that delete index after 90 days, but also keep creating new index every 30 days. Result is each kibana version I ever installed has 3 useless indexes - and my elastic has more than hundred of them now.
