# Kibana Inegration with Plotly

Is there a way to integrate plotly visualisations and Kibana visualisations seamlessly. In one of the blog posts, it is mentioned that plotly visualisations can be integrated on to kibana canvas using a custom plotly renderer ([https://www.elastic.co/blog/keeping-up-with-kibana-2018-12-10](https://www.elastic.co/blog/keeping-up-with-kibana-2018-12-10)) . Is this renderer open source ? Is there any other way to do this ?

Hi @Aravinda_Kolla, so we did experiment with using Plotly in Canvas about a year ago but we ended the project due to a series of concerns: security, as well as performance since a full Plotly bundle is 2+ MB.
We may consider building some sort of optional plugin in the future but there isn't an easy integration with it today.
