Hi,

I have installed ElasticSearch 8.2.3 and its working ok and able to created index, document, able to search etc., Now, i want to install kibana-8.2.3
My os # Windows 10
When i run kibana.bat, i am getting this error
[2022-06-27T01:38:47.028+05:30][ERROR][elasticsearch-service] Unable to retrieve version information from Elasticsearch nodes. self signed certificate in certificate chain

Looks like i need to do more based on URL "[Install Kibana | Kibana Guide [8.2] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/install.html)"

But i am unable to build steps to do it, if there is more detailed page on how to do it in Windows 10, could you please share it.

Thanks,
Chandra

Have you followed the steps described at [Start Elasticsearch and generate an enrollment token for Kibana](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/windows.html#windows-enroll)?

This blog post also offers the list of steps to run Elasticsearch and Kibana 8.x

> **[Securing your Elastic Stack is now simpler than ever](https://www.elastic.co/blog/introducing-simplified-elastic-stack-security)**
>
> In Elastic 8.0, Elastic Stack security is on by default for self-managed clusters. To get started, simply spin up Elasticsearch and Kibana, connect them using the new web UI, and they work together securely, out of the box.

Hope it helps!
