# Kibana keeps asking me to set index

Dear all,

I am using Kibana for my kubernetes. It keeps directing me to the management to ask me to set my index. I have already set index pattern to be \* and i didnt set any time filter everytime when I hit the kibana dashboard. Everytime I log in also it tells me that there is no index pattern when I remember I have created it before hand. How do i stop it from asking me every single time ?

That's odd - is that single index marked as default? There should be a star on the index pattern page you can click if not.
