Hello,

I have a project where it is required that I contact kibana via nginx proxy pass having the URL the following format: [http://domain.com/kibana](http://domain.com/kibana)

I have configured the nginx with location /kibana {} but when I access kibana is failing back to [http://domain.com/](http://domain.com/) which would obviously give me error 503.

I have tried adding to the kibana.yml the following:

`server.basePath: "/kibana"`
but it fails starting with the following error in the logs:

```auto
Any way to have this fixed?
Aparently the user kibana did not had write permission to the `/usr/share/kibana/optimize/` changing the owner of that folder to `kibana` and restarting the `kibana` fixed the issue.
