# Kibana loading its js files very slowly

It takes long time to load a kibana js files . So the kibana UI takes more time for loading the dashboard . Is there is any alternative for this.

Hi @balu_23,

I assume you're running Kibana locally in a development mode: in this case there is no way around that apart from having beefier machine. In production mode everything should work a way faster.

We are in production mode . Is there is any specific option to increase speed of kibana

No, there is no any. But you'd better grab HAR and use perf section of browser dev tools to debug and let us what and what stage exactly is slow (HAR will show that). There is a ton of reasons why your particular setup is slow, hard to say without enough debug information.
