# Kibana metricbeat default dashboard question about process count number?

Dear ELK team,

As you can see that in the image of my system there was showing in process count 25 or 26, i did not understand that what is that mean, i check in my system these was 256 task and 1 is running so that why why i am confused, please guide me what is that process count showing in default metricbeat kibana dashboard ?

Hey, I agree it's a strange one. That visualization is getting the unique number of process ids ingested into elasticsearch from metricbeat. This is potentially a lot of data so it is sometimes limited, is your metricbeat configuration using the process.include\_top\_n config?
