# Kibana monitor

Dear Team,

I would like to monitor the kibana status and java heap memory using the curl command.

Could you please provide the command ?

You would have to use watcher for this I would assume. I found a similar post with the full watch described and possible solution...see if this works for you? If not, feel free to reach out.

Monitoring+watcher should help you in this.

There is another simple way : It's defined in the node stats

[https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/cluster-nodes-stats.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/cluster-nodes-stats.html)

And for kibana it's `/api/status`

Thanks for the update,

We are going to monitor using Icinga tool,  
Just CURL command to get the kibana status as well as java heap memory.
