# Kibana Monitoring Graph Extended Periods

Hello,
I would like to know, if I can customize the period of time for the Graphs in Kibana Stack Monitoring.
Right now I can only go back 1 week.
I would like to extend that period of time.
I can see that the "monitoring-es-7-\*" indices are getting deleted after 1 week.
But where can I change that?

Hi @HIghCoder, welcome to the Elastic community forums 👋!
If you're using a [Gold or higher license](https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions), you can configure the retention duration for monitoring data to be more than 7 days via the [`xpack.monitoring.history.duration`](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/monitoring-settings.html#monitoring-collection-settings) Elasticsearch dynamic cluster setting.
