# Kibana not reflecting the parsed fields of log file

Kibana not reflecting the parsed fields of log file even though parsed fields can be seen in logstash command prompt.

Kibana is hopefully showing what the data looks like in elasticsearch. Can you share the logstash configuration and what the expected output is? And can we can we roughly verify that this data exists in elasticsearch? (`GET _cat/indices` for example).
