# Kibana not starting (Inactive or dead)

Kibana not starting on running `sudo systemctl status Kibana` It shows:

```
● Kibana.service
   Loaded: not-found (Reason: No such file or directory)
   Active: inactive (dead)

```

With command `sudo systemctl start Kibana` it shows  
`Failed to start Kibana.service: Unit Kibana.service not found.`

When running from Kibana/bin directory it says:  
`[fatal] Port 5601 is already in use. Another instance of Kibana may be running!`

Hi @raman3.0, the service is case sensitive. Can you share the output of `systemctl status kibana`?
