I want to develop a new plug in which adds a new button to one of my dashboards. Once that button is clicked, I want to get the values of filter applied on that dashboard and save that filter value in a CSV file.

Can someone direct me to any existing plugin that I can use or resources that can be helpful in this?

Hi @usman1,

Please see our plugin development guide, if you are using an older version, please update the version of the guide accordingly:

> **[External plugin development | Kibana Guide \[7.12\] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/external-plugin-development.html)**

Hope this helps,

Thanks
Liza
