I recently upgraded to 5.2.0, hosted by [elastic.co](http://elastic.co) ([https://www.elastic.co/cloud/as-a-service](https://www.elastic.co/cloud/as-a-service)) from v 2.3. At the same time, I also upgraded Kibana to the latest version. However, when I log into Kibana only Timeline and Graph seem to work, whereas the rest (dashboard, visualize, discover, management) show complete empty pages (Except for the navigation menu). If anyone can assist as to why those 4 items don't show anything that would be appreciated!!

Thanks!

Can you open your browser's developer tools and check if there's an error in the javascript console? This may also be worth opening in the Cloud section ([https://discuss.elastic.co/c/cloud](https://discuss.elastic.co/c/cloud)).

Thanks for the advice! The error involved "default index pattern"....so I just deleted the .kibana index in my ES (I didn't care for any of the data there) and relogged in and it worked!! (Auto created a new empty .kibana index)
