# Kibana scripted fields for percentage calculation

Is it possible to calculate % value using Kibana? I wanted to create a line chart with week wise percentage for a particular field

Not sure I entirely understand your question. Do you have a field value and you would like to convert to display a particular percentage of it? Or are you looking for the cardinality as a whole?

I would recommend either scripted fields or [Timelion](https://www.elastic.co/blog/timelion-timeline)
