# Kibana search 7 days throws error

This is the marvel sense query i ran which i assume is the equivalent of running \* search on kibana

_GET logstash-2015.07.21,logstash-2015.07.20,logstash-2015.07.19,logstash-2015.07.18,logstash-2015.07.17,logstash-2015.07.16,logstash-2015.07.15/\_search_  
_{_  
_"query": {_  
_"match\_all": {_  
_}_  
_}_  
_}_

Result came back really fast  
_"took": 2969,_  
_"timed\_out": false,_  
_"\_shards": {_  
_"total": 56,_  
_"successful": 56,_  
_"failed": 0_  
_},_  
_"hits": {_  
_"total": 9140358688,_  
_"max\_score": 1,_

Might the slowness be because kibana by default does all searches against the message field?
