# Kibana set date filter to show last 30 days

Hi ,  
I have a query on how to apply date filter conditions.

so i have an index where i have not set the default time filter. ( i selected i do not want to set a time filter option while creating index) since i have many dates.

Now for loading purposes,  
I want to set the data to load only for the past 30 days in my dashboard, which can later be removed.

I want to use Add filter , here,

now-7d is something i tried as a test, but it gave me the data before 7 days..

How do i set this to get daya from past 30 days till now.

Please help me.

Hi,  
you can try the "is between" operator
