# Kibana UI Customization

Hi!! I want to slightly change the UI of kibana without installing any other themes. I just want to change some colors fonts using the original source code file. However i couldnt find the index page or the exact location where those files reside. I am using Kibana 7.8 version. May i know the file path for index page?

Hello,
There's no officially supported way to do this yet, but it comes up pretty frequently in discuss. Here's [one example](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/light-theme-bgcolor-changes-light-theme-style-css/223451) with a few links which may help. It'd also be worth watching [this github issue](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/17879) for better long-term support of the functionality.
