# Kibana UX Background

Hello,  
This is very random but it peaked my curiousity.  
I noticed the preview of a dashboard has a different background format:

Versus what I am seeing:

**Keep in mind, I am not talking about the data and the errors. I am referring to the shadow of the visualization.**

I am on Kibana Version: 8.14.3

Wait I figured it out, the new layout (my current version) was introduced in 8.14.0.
