# Kibana without sidebar

Hi,
Is it possible to remove the sidebar (perhaps some configuration in kibana.yml)?
We tried embed=true, but this removes the search capability which we need.
Any suggestions?

There is no way to configure Kibana to not show the sidebar. From 6.0 onward though, dashboards have a "full screen" option which is ideal for things like TV displays. Perhaps that'd work for your case?

That doesn't help my usecase, but for now I'll just collapse the sidebar.
