# Kibana x-pack license

Hi,

Kibana trial 30 days i have activated.

And then i wrongly choosed option to switch to basic license.

Now i am not able to activate my 30 days license again.

Hi @muthu_kumar1,

To reinstate your trial license, you have a couple of options:

1. If you don't mind starting over (losing **all** of your visualizations, indices, data, setttings, etc), then re-installing Elasticsearch will give you a clean slate.
2. If you have data or settings that you wish to keep, then you'll have to click the "Extend trial" button, which will allow you to get in touch with one of Elastic's representatives. They'll be able to issue you an extended trial license.
