# Kubectl can not create elastic podse

root@~# kubectl get elasticsearch  
NAME HEALTH NODES VERSION PHASE AGE  
quickstart 50s  
root@~# kubectl get pods --selector='[elasticsearch.k8s.elastic.co/cluster-name=quickstart](http://elasticsearch.k8s.elastic.co/cluster-name=quickstart)'  
No resources found in default namespace.  
root@~# kubectl get svc  
NAME TYPE CLUSTER-IP EXTERNAL-IP PORT(S) AGE  
kubernetes ClusterIP 10.96.0.1 443/TCP 3h6m

what is wrong with this status?  
no pods are running.
