# Kubernetes deployment - Elastic Search

We currently use Elasticsearch through the Azure implementation but is getting too expensive, and I would like to know the procedure to host my own image of Elasticsearch and kibana through kubernetes. Do I need to pay for the license? What else should I have to do for this implementation?
Please share some guidance or experience with this services

If you have a Platinum license on Elasticsearch Service then that's included in the cost of that, if you want to run the same thing on prem then you will need a license, yes.
