# Kubernetes.node.status.\* metrics not available for alerting

I think that this [thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-alert-on-boolean-field-possible/252715) might be similar to what you are trying to achieve. Related [PR](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/142255) was merged and this filtering should be available in version 8.6 for [Index threshold](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/master/rule-type-index-threshold.html) rule type.
