# Kuery exact match

Hi ,
is it possible with the kuery language to do an exact match on a field ?
By example :
to match "url":"[http://myDomaine.com/](http://myDomaine.com/)" but exclude all the [http://myDomaine.com/\*](http://myDomaine.com/*) possibility

Exact matches are easier to query for if your field is mapped as a `keyword`. It looks like your `url` field is a `text` field. Do you have a `url.keyword` field? (Elasticsearch would create this multi field by default) If so you should be able to do search for an exact match with it e.g. `url.keyword:"http://mydomain.com/"`
