# Lab 4.1 did not see expected log data, metric beat \[warn\]

In Observability Lab 4.1, the log messages contained this:  
**[elastic\_agent.metricbeat][warn] Cannot index event publisher.Event{Content:beat.Event{**  
In the Logs, Stream, I enter " **pets**" in the highlight field, nothing was highlighted.

1. What is wrong,
2. what should I have done or learned,
3. and how do I correct it?

In an earlier lab, the instructions led me to install Heartbeat. For the logs to work, do I need to install metricbeat also? The labs prior to 4.1 do not mention metricbeat.

These are my results when I choose highlight and enter **pets**. This is not what the lab instructions show. The instructions show several shorter log messages which have **pets** highlighted.
