# Language analyzer

I am newbie to Elasticsearch and I have found out that its have **language analyzer** but I cant find how can I use it. Can I use it to retrieve only English language text docs?

No. This is not a feature that the language analyzer gives.  
An analyzer is used to ignore some common words, like and, or, then, can, ...

I don't know how you can autodetect language.
