# Lens add number data type

Hi Every one  
i am going through a strange issue , i want a build a bar chart to count number of employee per age(integer number), but lens is not allowing me to add any field with number data type to the x-axis is there any advice i am really confused

Thank you for the update, i am using using elastic cloud service with Kibana 7.5.2 that means i should upgrade my deployment to the new release to get this issue fixed.

Yes, if you upgrade you'll be able to use numbers on the X axis.
