# License & notice missing from mvnrepository.com .jar downloads

The elasticsearch-#.#.#.jar files from elasticsearch.org and GitHub include
NOTICE.txt and LICENSE.txt files that are missing from files of the same
name downloaded in [mvnrepository.com](http://mvnrepository.com).
The Apache 2.0 license requires that the NOTICE file be included so it sort
of seems like using the .jar from [mvnrepository.com](http://mvnrepository.com) would violate the
license terms.
