Hello,

I am working on certain requirement within our team and was able to determine that Workplace search suits the needs.

I would like to know if Workplace search is part of the basic elastic license as of today ?

I read in the documentation that at the moment Workplace search is only available for Platinum customers and free version will be out soon. But it is not yet out and hence I cannot use it since I am not a platinum customer.

Is that correct or can I use the workplace search as part of the basic free license ?

Hi,

It is indeed correct that some parts of Workplace Search will be available for the Basic license in the future.

If you download the Enterprise Search package today, you _will_ need a Platinum license. We offer a 14 day Platinum trial license that the Enterprise Search package will automatically set up for you, if you want to try it out.
