Hello Experts,

We have m5.xlarge.elasticsearch instance hosted for product search and index purpose (retail products, images, product descriptions ect.,) In AWS cloudwatch perspective I want to set alarm for Index Rate / Search Rate / Index Latency and search latency. It would be grateful if someone can help me o define threshold values for specified metrics.

Hosted Instances - m5.2xlarge.elasticsearch & m5.xlarge.elasticsearch

These would be specific to you, based on your historic measurements and business requirements of the system.

Hi Mark, Thank you. Is there any benchmark reference or documents available to scale ES performance?

There's quite a bit out there, including on our blog, and other places that you will find via other sizing based topics on here 🙂
