# LIRE with elasticsearch

Hi,

does elastic 5.0 support latest LIRE(lucene image retrieval engine ) [lire](http://www.lire-project.net/) ?  
if yes , is there any same example or projects available ?

It requires a plugin. There is a [community plugin](https://github.com/kzwang/elasticsearch-image) for old, unsupported versions of Elasticsearch, but it would need to be updated to take advantage of the latest versions.
