# Load Balancing Elasticsearch Hot Nodes

Hi All,

We have a query for elasticsearch node redundancy. Can we use a AWS NLB/ALB to load balance the Hot Nodes so that in the Node failure data will still be pushed to another active hot node under the load balancer

Another query is , can we use multiple IP's in beats yml config to point the elasticsearch nodes so that beats detect the active data node send the data during a node failure
