Hi All Location for Indices is at /var/lib/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/nodes/0/indices/logstash-date My query is, after closing of Indices whats the Path location of Closed Indices. Or how could we find the closed indices Path in Unix. ---

Hi Mark So is there no way to pick the closed indices and have a copy backup of it. ---

Just because you close them doesn't mean they get moved. As mentioned, they stay in the same place on disk. ---

You can just copy the data directory, or you can reopen it and use snapshot. ---
