# Lock down kibana

I have AWS ES and i would like to allow access to kibana through user logins, how can i do it?

Sorry to tell you, but AWS ES is not maintained or supported by us and as far as I know they don't support X-Pack, which can provide you with user login. If you're looking for hosted ES with proper support and up-to-date versions of ES + X-pack you can try our own cloud offering at [https://cloud.elastic.co/](https://cloud.elastic.co/) . There's a free trial to see if it fits your needs.
