# Log event on codec error

HI All,
On a regular basis I am getting this is my logs.
> [2018-05-14T07:06:11,026][WARN][logstash.codecs.plain] Received an event that has a different character encoding than you configured. {:text=\>"z\xA5\xAD\t\xED7\x87\u001A\_}\xDD)\xC76\x87\fze\u001D\xC4mK\r\xD1(j8\xBE锣ч圐\x86\xAD\xAAe\u001C{ծ\xE97\u001C\xDFvʱ\x8E\xB5ϖԎ\xE8\v\xBF=71\x8E'\xEB\n", :expected\_charset=\>"UTF-8"}
In it self this is not a problem, it is a warning. From a ops point of view I would like to see the event that triggers this warning. Is there a way to log this event aswell?
