I would like to know if its possible to gather additional details in logstash at the time of filtering or logging. For e.g in the filter section if we see a particular error code , can we gather system related details like RAM, running process, etc and have this data also stored?

Appreciate any pointers on this topic

Have a look at metricbeat, it can collect that.
