# Logs missing in Elastic Search

Hello Experts,
I have a situation where in many cases I am not able to find my application's complete logs of a particular operation in Kibana however the logs are available in application server log file.
When I looked into elastic search, not all the logs of application server are present in it.
So what exactly I should check in logstash config? Could you please help?

Hi,
Before talking of your logstash config, have you checked your logstash logs and elasticsearch logs?
I guess some error messages exist in the logs.
