# Logstash 5.6.1 inifinite loop? Encountered a retryable error

Cross posted to this issue @theuntergeek [Undefined method `sanitized'](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/undefined-method-sanitized/100588/5) as it seems to be specific to the elasticsearch-output-plugin.

I removed everything and did a clean install. This gave me the santize error, so tried updating the plugins and now I'm back to where i started above.
