# Logstash 6.4.0 problem

Hello,

I have just installed logstash 6.4.0 and getting error below. I am using exactly the same config file (which I have used with 6.1.3 so far)  
Is this a bug or something changed with the new version?

There is no `/dev/null` on Windows (which I assume you run Logstash on). If you need to avoid keeping a since\_db file, try this instead in your configuration.

```auto
input {
    file {
        path => ["C:\Data\MN\3GKPI.csv"]
        start_position => "beginning"
        sincedb_path => "nul"
    }
}
```

path =\> "C:/Data/MN/3GKPI.csv"

Dear Gents. Thank you.  
Both "nul" and replacing / with \ in the path name required to run the ls.  
Actually, I am puzzled as in version 6.1.3 on windows , it was running w/o problem.  
I suppose in the new version things changed.
