# Logstash 7.6 using older version of beats input plugin

Hi,

I have setup 2 machines one for filebeat and other for logstash. Done all of the settings as required and filebeat is also transmitting data to logstash. The problem I see is filebeat is sending log lines in loop means re-sending the log lines. I am using filebeat and logstash 7.6 version. Xpack is also not enabled and basic setup. After some analysis I found logstash is using 6.0.4 version of beat input plugin , I upgraded to 6.0.8 and it logs looping stopped.

Is it the case? If yes then how can we get logstash with the latest beat input plugin.  
Please suggest.
