# Logstash as a service, it does not connect to the network drives to read files

I am configuring logstash as a windows service, with the procrun tool.  
Everything is configured, is problent  
when I run logstash as a service, it does not connect to the network drives to read files. but when I run it with the same tool procrun by console, if it reads the files in network drives.

Does the account that Logstash runs as have access to those network locations?

I don't know how this works nowadays, but at least ten years ago a Windows service couldn't access network resources by default.

Yes, the service is authenticated with a user with permissions.
