Logstash cannot connect to Elasticsearch

Logstash version is 8.12.2.
Elasticsearch version the same. JVM: 21.0.2

when I launch logstash i get this message:
Mar 27 16:42:07 elk.kaztoll.kz logstash[9567]: [2024-03-27T17:42:07,211][WARN][logstash.outputs.elasticsearch][netflow] Attempted to resurrect connection to dead ES instance, but got an error

I only have one conf via filebeat module netflow
cat /etc/logstash/conf.d/netflow.conf

```auto
input {
  udp {
    port => 9995
    codec => netflow {
      versions => [5, 9]
    }
    type => netflow
  }
}
filter {
  if [type] == "netflow" {
    # Add any additional filters you need for processing Netflow data
  }
}
output {
  elasticsearch {
    user => "elastic"
    password => "mypassword"
    index => "netflow-%{+YYYY.MM.dd}"
  }
}
```

cat /etc/logstash/pipelines.yml

```auto
- pipeline.id: netflow
  path.config: "/etc/logstash/conf.d/netflow.conf"
```

cat /etc/filebeat/modules.d/netflow.yml

```auto
- module: netflow
  log:
    enabled: true
    var:
      # at: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/defining-processors.html#condition-network
      internal_networks:
```

and finally, my elk conf
cat /etc/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.yml

```auto
Welcome to the community!
> elasticsearch {
You hadn't set HTTPS on LS side. Try with:
```auto
output {
  elasticsearch {
    hosts => ["https://10.0.125.7:9200"]
    ssl_enabled=> true
    ssl_certificate_authorities => "/etc/logstash/certs/http_ca.crt"
    ssl_verification_mode => full
    user => "elastic"
    password => "mypassword"
    index => "netflow-%{+YYYY.MM.dd}"
}
}

```
Shoud be in /etc/elasticsearch/certs/ copy it or use `ssl_keystore_path` like in elasticsearch.yml.
Those are only readable by root, and you should not be running logstash as root. Try `chmod o+w /etc/logstash/certs/http_ca.crt`.
Something else is using port 9995. Try changing the port number and see if that allows startup.
Are you running two copies of logstash, one as a service, one on the command line?
Another option would be to change `netflow_host: 0.0.0.0` to (for example) `netflow_host: 127.34.4.19` (a loopback address that 0.0.0.0 will not cover), which will not get events moving, but may show whether there is a an address collision.
i tried use port 2055, 2056, 9995
when I launch logstash in command line, i stopped logstash service
now i changed the port and ip adress
```auto
- module: netflow
  log:
    enabled: true
    var:
      netflow_host: "127.34.4.19"
      netflow_port: 2055
      netflow_timeout: 300s

```
but i get the same messages in logs:
```auto

It looks like you are configuring both filebeat and logstash to listen on port 2055. Just change one thing at a time. Change the port that logstash listens on, even if nothing writes to it. If that starts up then you need to think about how to get data from filebeat to logstash.

```
so, I have logstash config cat /etc/logstash/conf.d/netflow.conf
```auto
input {
  udp {
    port => 2055
    codec => netflow {
      versions => [5, 9]
    }
    type => netflow
  }
}

filter {
  if [type] == "netflow" {
    # Add any additional filters you need for processing Netflow data
  }
}

output {
  elasticsearch {
    hosts => ["10.0.125.7:9200"]
    user => "elastic"
    password => "mypassword"
    ssl_enabled=> true
    ssl_certificate_authorities => "/etc/logstash/certs/http_ca.crt"
    ssl_verification_mode => full
    index => "netflow-%{[@metadata][version]}-%{+YYYY.MM.dd}"
    manage_template => false
  }
}

```
and filebeat conf. cat /etc/filebeat/modules.d/netflow.yml
```auto
- module: netflow
  log:
    enabled: true
    var:
      netflow_host: "0.0.0.0"
      netflow_port: 9995
      netflow_timeout: 300s

```
telnet 10.0.125.7 9995 and 10.0.125.7 2055 from mikrotik doesn't work, firewall ports are open. how I can get data from filebeat to logstash?
You cannot use telnet for UDP, rather use nc, tcpdump or nmap.
