# Logstash CSV Filter Using Unicode delimiter ( SOH )

The [string type documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/configuration-file-structure.html#string) doesn't mention anything about this so one should assume escape sequences are unsupported. See related thread below:
