# Logstash data updation is not working?

I have a logstash file running. it is working fine when inserting first time. but when I update the source file it is getting **json\_parse\_error**. the mapping and template is fine i think cause in first time its working fine.

I think while updating the data on that file, it is facing this issue, but still not sure. Any idea to test what is exactly going on.
