# Logstash Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.logstash.config.ir.compiler.ComputeStepSyntaxElement

Hi I just set up a filebeat to reach logstash and im getting the below error:

my logstash conf:

> ```
> input {
> beats {
> port => 5044
> ssl => false
> }
> }
> output {
> elasticsearch {
> hosts => ["myip:9200"]
> index => "pearsonlogsoasis"
> }
> stdout { codec => rubydebug }
> }
> 
> ```

please help me out. im not sure what the cause is.
