Hi guys, I have my Elasticsearch on one server and logstash on another. I am getting the following error in my logstash, will need your inputs: log4j, [2015-03-11T05:26:32.662] WARN: org.elasticsearch.discovery.zen.ping.unicast: [logstash-ip-172-xx-xxx-7-8623-2016] failed to send ping to [[#zen\_unicast\_1#][ip-172-xx-xx0-7][inet[/172.xx.xxx.71:9200]]] org.elasticsearch.transport.ReceiveTimeoutTransportException: [][inet[/172.31.100.71:9200]][discovery/zen/unicast] request\_id [402] timed out after [3750ms] at org.elasticsearch.transport.TransportService$TimeoutHandler.run(TransportService.java:356) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1145) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:615) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745) Any help would be highly appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "elasticsearch" group. TCP/9200 is for REST interface...Zen ping should be on 9300 ... I suspect you set a config wrong...
